Windows 8 isn't cancer, it just has a few problems, but yes never buy a OS and you should get 8.1 or 10 next time.

Personally I do not trust pirating a OS. I think you should always get a genuine copy of it because you ALWAYS run the risk of downloading a virus and infecting your brand new computer.

Ive ran torrented os for along time and have had no issues what so ever. I do recommend buyying the os as we all no genuine programs are always better, but ive had no problems doing so.
