Hey guys so I have a question, would you guys recommend getting a different fan or cooler for this cpu? I just built my computer so I dont know much but I heard that the stock fan that comes with it kind of sucks. Help me out?

Well, you bought the unlocked 4690, and presuming that you have a motherboard that will let you overclock, a different CPU fan will be good if you want to overclock. If you don't want to overclock, the stock fan will do just fine.

If you dont plan to overclock, why did you get it? It wont do justice in gaming FYI.
The stock cooler will not do good in overclocking. Get an aftermarket cooler ASAP.

That is what I said. He wont be. The K version 4690k is a waste.
I said that last part because he was implying he might in the future. So if he does, he will know the stock cooler wont do good.

Just because the stock cooler will suffice doesn't mean you have to stick with it. It's loud and ugly.
