What it is saying on my screen ...
" Reboot and select proper boot device
or insert boot media in selected boot device and pressa key"
Does this mean i need to buy windows? i already have a computer that i am on can i swap them over?
Can i buy them online , no shops are open.
Just need some help thanks in advance!

In the bios you need to select a boot drive, if your PC came with a hdd the OS may be on it and it's just not set up to boot from it.

Well, you need an OS to boot a PC bast the BIOS. If you don't have a hard drive with an OS on, you need one in order to get past the BIOS.
Use a Windows install CD/USB and install windows on your HDD in your new PC.

What windows version have you got? And whats it installed on? The main HDD or and external?
In you're BIOS you need to select whatever the windows version is installed on
I had this problem with Win 8 and I downgraded to windows 7 ultimate and wiped my whole hard drive and started again.
my problem was that windows couldnt find the partition on the drive that my version was installed on, so it was stuck in a cycle of no OS found.
PM me if you need further help

If you have Windows installed on a boot device and its still not selecting the proper boot device then you may need to clear your CMOS to be able to boot into Windows. This was a problem for me after installing windows and it would show that exact same message, clearing CMOS done the trick.
