Quad Core 775 coolermaster case, 4gb ddr3, 1gb graphics card. I might be buying it off someone as I really need a PC is it okay?

It depends on what you plan on doing... In general it should 'do' however If it's extreme gaming, editing and speed in general then no sorry. What graphics card is it? 1GB doesn't sound too great. What's the full processor spec? i3 ? Pentium? However on the positive side, 4gb of ram sounds better, however again if you plan on doing gaming and loading a few processes i would recommend 8gb. I'm going to need a little more info on some of the components, how much are you planning on buying it for?

the guy wants to trade an xbox 360 for it as he wants to play with 360 friends. that is all he has told me so cant get anymore info right now. I want it so I can use my Elgato because my laptop is so slow and broken it wont even run the Elgato software. I want it to run Minecraft, Photoshop and After Effects.

4 GB of ram is not going to run photoshop and illustrator very well
