Exactly , the same here, when I was in school.

Are school has laptops, computer and Ipads. However the laptops are quite bad, and the computers are i3's.

My school, has intel core i7-4600U CPU @ 2.10Ghz 8GB ram. Tbh I don't know what that means, expect i7 is good lol

Back when i was in school 3 years ago, My school had really bad i5 computers with like 4gb ram. They also had a mac suite so everyone just went there at lunch to play games on (mainly minecraft or runescape because everything else was banned lol)

back when I was still doing IT for my university we would deploy Dell Latitude laptops to most of the faculty. They had some sort of ir or i7 in them (varied depending on the user/department), 8-16gb RAM, and usually 500gb SSD's. But then there were also people that had older computers that were complete pieces of junk (I'm talking that Pentium duo core processor with 1.5gb RAM lol). Usually computers would have a 4 year life cycle before getting replaced but not everyone would always get an upgrade so we had a ton of different machines around campus.
