So i just tried to make a nice simple banner and pretty much failed so i might as well show my failness to TTG

You could easily make big improvements if you watched a few tutorials. I'd suggest a different font too Good for starters

Hmm.. IMO, it'll look nicer & cleaner if you use a different font instead of a cursive one. Black background and a dark-colored font does not really go well. So, I also suggest that you try to have a light bg and then dark font or vice versa. Another tip, in layouting, you may use 3 different fonts. So, you can use a cursive font for your name and a sans serif font for your subheadings. There are a lot of sans serif fonts you can choose online. You can also check design websites for color theme suggestions.

It really is not bad for your first go at it. The colors are a bit off, the text could use some work, and other little nit-picky things, but really not bad for your first go around.

Watch some tutorials on YT and just keep practicing and you will get the hang of it in no time.
