002 wrote When you order a car, each option has its own code. Codes are usually grouped in sets; in 1967, when the Camaro was introduced the Super Sport came standard with the L48 engine ("L" seems to be the prefix for engines) with the L35 being the 396/325 and the L78 being the 396/375. The "Z" seems to be the prefix for packages and options grouped together, such as the Rally Sport (Z22) and "Special Interior Group" (Z23). The Z28 - a Trans Am homologation special was no different. It's just an RPO code.
I done stated its just a RPO code lmfao
