Its good for a temporary processor, but the i3 Alexyy suggested is a bit better.
Although the G3258 can be overclocked, but wont make much a difference in games.
CPU has little difference in games. GPU is the most difference. The only thing you should do if you get the Pentium is upgrade probably around the end of this year/beginning of next year
I know. Dont know why I referred to you.
Only thing to note, some games will not launch with the dual core Pentium.

Yes. I've only ever heard it happen on FC4 though, so mainly on newer games. Nothing to worry about, really.

The Pentium is a good budget CPU but as mentioned above Dual cores are becoming a hassle in gaming. The games you mentioned will be easily playable.
When the Pentium is overclocked(which you should do) in games that are well optimized for Dual cores the Pentium will hold its own against an I5 chip.
For the games you are using i would personally go with the pentium + GTX 950 as you would have more graphical performance and them games aren't too demanding. Then in the future upgrade to an I5 if you wish.
The I3 is a Dual Core but is hyper threaded where as the Pentium is also a Dual core but is not hyper threaded.
