Being straight up honest with them will be your best bet. Tell them you do not enjoy the sport and give your reasons. Do you enooy any other sports? Let them know you are going to try out for those

Start the gym. Then tell your parents you aren't interested in football, and they can't say anything about staying active. But it certainly doesn't seem as though you are being forced to play football. You just haven't told your parents properly that you don't enjoy it.

Just tell them that you don't really like the sport and you don't want to continue, surely they'd understand and let you do what makes you happy.

If they are forcing you into a sport, it can mean one of two things.

- They believe you will be successful if you continue and they are encouraging you to continue which could result in you making money from the sport.
- Your parents are horrible.

Just tell them you do not want to play anymore. You say that think you will be lazy if you stop playing football so show them alternatives that you would actually enjoy.

You should tell them. I will also say that will probably regret not playing, because most of the people i know that didnt play regret it alot. I also regret not playing myself.
