How can i make my phat ps3 fan quieter? Im trying to play Last of us and it is annoying me

Clean any dust on and around the fan then Add some thermal pate to the chips, that's the first sign of a overheating Ps3 which could lead to a YLOD.

Make sure the console is turned off and unplugged take can air and blow thru the sides that will blow any dust out the back and off the fan also blowing thru th back of it will fear any debris out of the console and should run cooler making the fan less noisy
