'D's get degrees.'
I'm not sure how much grades matter in college, like getting into the work force. I'm a first term freshman, and I started a week and a half late, and my grades suffered from that. I'm just wondering if you guys have any experience regarding how much grades really matter in college?

Grades are important, so you need to try your best to get the best grades possible, but D is technically passing. So, if that is the highest grade you can get, don't sweat it.

I'm in my senior year on high school, so I may not be the best person for this but I imagine that they would matter a pretty good amount. it would look great for employers once you graduate but at the same time, my sister had a 4.0 for 2 semesters and maintained a 3.7-3.8 during all four years, yet still hasn't landed a job for her degree haha

I currently have a 54% in psychology, but after some calculations, if I average a 90% on all upcoming assignments/exams, I will get an 82 for the class

grades matter quite alot but not as much as your final exam
but
if you fail your final exam andd have good grades on the rest then you will get the chance to resit the end exam
whereas
if you dont have good grades and you fail you will not manage to resit the final exam

Grades in college do matter, but not as much as in high school. My cousin has a PhD and told me after she graduated that grades don't matter as long as you pass. But always do your best!
