Hey I drive a 2004 kia optima ex v6 and I recently had my engine light come on. The code says one of
My cylinders is misfiring and it's definetly noticeable when driving. Taking it to get looked at tommorow. Just was seeing if I should be concerned of driving and the potential of breaking down or will I be safe.
Just had the car serviced and the fuel injectors cleaned. Could it just be a bad spark plug?

Bud that sound like a bad spark plug maybe it's not set in right could cause a cylinder to malfunction better not drive intill you can check them or risk blowing your block

Alright I forgot to mention I don't believe it's the plugs cause I'm still a good bit under 100k miles. I'll still replace them if it ends up not being a short or something along those lines.

Is it a misfire, or a lean code? misfire tells me spark plug. Even though you may have changed them say last month, coolant may have gotten in there and crewed up the plug. It it's a lean code then it may be something as stupid as an exhaust leak, like a broken manifold stud or something.
