I've opened up my Xbox 360 and it's a Philips, liteon drive, Model number: DG-16D2S-09C, June 2009

I think Lite-On drives are a bit harder to flash.

Are you sure it depends on the dash as i just did a liteon drive on the latest dash and it worked fine
