I'm turning 18 in a couple weeks and I'll have a bit more money to spare on buying my first car after that. I've been looking online at a lot of different cars and the only cars I've really been debating is a Vauxhall Corsa(2002) or Renault Clio(2003). But I've heard quite bad things about the Renault Clio, about how it tends to have a lot of issues with it.
Any recommendations?

Around £1000 really mate, not a massive budget haha. But might possibly end up with a couple hundred more.

Yep I'm from the UK and the insurance will just be on top of the money I have for the car. I plan on getting a black box as well for cheaper insurance.

Well I'm quite up for the idea of getting a corsa as I've not heard much bad about it! And it's good to hear there cheap on fuel as well
