My desktop recently had a malfunction. I had the "blue screen of death". Took it to a local pc fix store and they guy told me i needed a new hard-drive. I tried every download recovery iso i could find on the internet to fix it my shelf but non worked. They guy charged me 130$ for the service & a 1TB Harddrive. It was driving me crazy that my pc was not working so i paid the 130$. He fixed the computer within a day. Anyways I just got home and everything seems find but just saw my computer has this
"32 bit operating system x64 based processor"

Why Did it change?! Also my computer had Windows 8 Not 8.1 enterprise. Now im pissed my Computer is only using 3.48ram out of 8GB..... Should i call him and ask? Can someone explain why would it change from 64bit to 32?!
I know there's a computer fourm but i need an answer ASAP!

The repair guy probably installed the 32bit OS by mistake. I would call him and ask if he can change it. If not you can always create an bootable USB and install the 64bit version of Windows 10.

Do not download Windows 10. Yet. It's horrible for gaming, if that's what you do on it. But if you do update to Win10, it should automatically detect your hardware and install 64bit. Thats how it was for Win8 with me. I had 32bit Win7.

Windows 10 is fine for gaming. You can download Windows 10 from Microsofts website. No usb is needed either just download it on your computer and it is pretty much a step by step instructions on how to install the os. Use google. Any more questions just pm me.

Potion meant to say "64bit version of Windows 7"
Everything else was correct enough

Something seems fishy. Why would anyone give a regular user a enterprise version of Windows?
I'd risk it and download Windows yourself and you know your getting the right one.
Personally, if stay away from that repair shop, overcharged, made you pay for something that you don't need and still done it wrong.
