Hey Everyone! So I'm looking for a camera to make music videos with and take pictures, but really want the videos to be good, especially with some good auto focus.

Right now I'm either leaning towards the Nikon D5200 or the Canon T5i.
Or if Anyone of You know any better cameras to take videos with, please tell Me abouot them!

But those two cameras pretty much set the money wage. Nothing more than $550 pleeease.
Or else You'll just be teasing Me! Haha.

But anyways, if You've used either of these cameras please give Me Your feedback. Or even if there's a different camera out there that's better for recording.

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE! I REAAALLY APPRECIATE IT!

Hello.

With regard to your budget, I suggest Sony Alpha NEX-F3, it costs around $450 - $600. It has an 18-55mm lens. Produces crisp and very good quality photos. It has a max movie resolution of 1920 x 1080 (60i/24p). I know that it is pretty outdated but I still think it's one of the best especially for starters. I have Sony Alpha NEX-F3 but I often use it for portraits and studio shoots, I think it's really good in making the skin look more flawless without making it look plastic-y.
Also, I have been a Canon fan ever since. And if you're asking yourself whether to get Nikon D5200 or Canon T5i, without any hesitations I'd let you pick Canon T5i. Why? 18mp, 12800 ISO range for low light shoots, and all the other stuff I know you've already researched about. But ya, I'd choose Canon over Nikon.

I hope this helped. I'm an enthusiast photographer since 2004.

You just showed Me a whole new camera I like a lot! I'm definitely adding this one to the want list!
Thank You! i really appreciate it! I forgot that it wasn't a T5i it was just a T5 My Friend is selling with a 50mm lens. Any thought on that?

Is there any major difference between DSLR and Mirriorless cameras?

If Anyone Else has any other thoughts please let Me know!

Do You mean the body looks or the actual pictures/video looks? Haha. I'm really leaning towards the D5200.

Whats better for videos and also has a good auto focus?

I'm going to be making a lot of hip hop videos so theres going to be a lot of moving around. I really want to make sure the auto focus is realllly good.
