I wasn't taught how to read a 24 hour clock. It was just something I figured out.

When me and my friends were in Europe I (qwel) changed my time to like you know get into the European spirit and I caught on quick lol like its basic subtraction... MY FRIENDS on the other hand cried and changed it back to US time.
Its not hard really and my work place here in the US uses 24 hour clock system. Idk its good to know, not quite sure why its not taught in schools. It would only take like a 15 minute if even that lesson lol

I was never taught it, but to read one it just takes some common sense. Shouldn't be too hard.

For all you people who wanna know how to read 24 hour time. Simply subtract 12 hours. If it's 16:00 then 16-12 is 4pm

It is quite annoying lol, but I normally just translate it into a 12 hour clock anyways because it's not like I'm going to say it's 22 oclock

For the muricans who need a quick way to work it out, subtract two from the two digit number so for example 13-2 = 11 and there you have your answer 1(1) 1pm

Miss wrote Here in the U.S. (at least California) you are not taught the 24-hour clock, ever.
Beat me to the punch. But, unless you are in the military (or part of a military family) or live in a part of the world where they consistently use a 24 hour clock, then the common person will have no idea what time it is judging off of that specific clock style.
