Does this actually work ? i did 4 runs of it earlier with no exos or anything above blue being dropped ? i had better luck popping one just before the last boss on most of the Heroic strikes.

I can comfirm this works. Me and my friend were borh doing it on xbox earlier on and i got 2 exotic engrams. But thanks for posting anyways dude

The best way to get exotics and not waste those coins is by doing heroic strikes and use one coin on a Ultra. That's what I do anyways. I got 10 exotics last night in an hour or so
