So for xmas this year I am getting a PS4! I have wanted one since the release -I got a gaming PC instead (2 years ago)
Anyway, is the difference huge? I am literally so excited but I don't know what I will do as I don't know anyone!

I'm sure you wont find it too difficult to switch. The only real change would be the UI and how you navigate around it. So, if you can work your Xbox I don't believe it'll be that hard to change.
I've only played on a play station, never owned one. Hopefully my input is useful for what I know.

I made the switch just yesterday, its unusual at first. Especially with 0 friends online
But all in all I'm happy with the change, really enjoying the experience.
(PS4 exclusives made me make the switch)

I own both consoles (XbOne & PS4), they both have pros/cons and enjoy them both. But my console preference is PS4, better picture. You can also create your PSN ID on their website to get a head start.

Agonizing wrote Its not that bad. Just play alot of it. Played bo3 and it was awesome.
Yes, I played the Beta on both PS4 and XbOne. With XbOne I have a modded controller with A/B buttons underneath, so I could shoot, aim, and boost all at the same time. Really greasy > : P

i switched from ps2 to 360 to ps3 then ps4 the switch isnt to hard since all games look and play at 1080p at 60fps or 30 fps depending on the game its very easy but the download speed they use is god awful if you have 100down 100up youll be waiting 1 to 3 hours for a game always buy disc games fyi

There really is not any major differences between the two "next-gen" consoles.
Only thing I've found with my PS4 that an Xbone can do but a PS4 can't:
- Appear offline
Other than that they are both identical, except for the exclusives. I have a PS4 and my brother has an Xbox One, I still prefer the PS4 because I like the dualshock 4 better than the Xbone controller. The dualshock also has an aux when the xbox one controller only has the aux sized jack on specially - made controllers
just my opinion
