I would ask in the youtube forum, as the programs they use should work with recording league just fine.

Use any video capturing software, or get a capture card.
Depending on your GPU there is some great software out there for recording such as Nvidia Shadowplay if you have an NVIDIA GPU.
You could also record using LolReplay

it depends if you are recording on PC or Console. For most consoles I believe you need a capture card such as an El Gato or HD PVR. On PC i personally like to use a program called Open Broadcast Software (OBS) and you can record/stream off of that in high quality if you have a good computer

Most of the Youtubers I know use either Fraps or Dxtory.
Now if you have a graphics card from Nvidia, being GTX 660 or up (I believe), you can use a recording software known as Shadowplay. It's brilliant and the quality isn't bad at all, especially how compressed the video file is.
But that's just my two sense, be sure to have something to render it out like Sony Vegas or a different rendering program.

Most Youtubers use Fraps as their recording software. I personally just use the same software I livestream with. "Open Broadcaster Software"
