I have a flip knife lying around on CS, and some money in my steam account already. I've been thinking for a while about whether or not to start playing. Are there PVE Dungeons? Raids? I know there's PVP but I want to get unbiased information from people that actually play ESO.
Let me know.
Let me know.

It's a good game, I've been playing for ever since it came out on console, it's a well balanced game, classes are all balanced equally so there's no real overpowered class or skills you can use, although the sorcerer is leading at the front now for the best build, the updates are good (They are quite massive though, last one was 22GB that's a big problem for people with slow broadband speeds)
The game is MASSIVE and I mean MASSIVE. There are 3 pacts you choose from at the start of the game which determines where you play. After you've finished one pacts side (Which will take you a good few months) you can make a new character and choose a different pact, and play completely different quests and fight completely different enemies as you were in your former pact. If you're looking for a game to REALLY get into and plow hundreds of hours into, then it's a good buy. Also the fact that it's free to play is a huge boost. You will have to pay a little bit of IRL money to get you started off (A horse, and a few packages of potions etc, these really do make the game MUCH easier to get into and makes it much more fun)
I'd really read into classes before you buy the game and create a character.
Most people would think (If they've played former TES games, is that High Elfs/Dark Elfs make good mages. WRONG. Any Race can make a great build for whatever class you want.
I've played 200 hours and I wouldn't even say im 20% through the game yet.
I advise all my friends to get it and so far they've all really enjoyed it!

you obviously haven't finished one alliances side lol, once you finish one alliance's quests you move on to another alliances campaign but at the veteran level
i.e) finishing the aldmeri dominion questline and then getting to VR1, then you move on to Stonefalls (Ebonheart Pact) and play through their story with all the mobs scaled to veteran ranks

Thanks a lot guys. I have good dl speed so updates aren't a problem. I want a game to invest a lot of hours into. I love TES games.
I've read that mounts that you pay for with IRL money are purely cosmetic? Is this true. This game isn't pay to win.

nope its purely playing to win, the more time you put in, the better you make your character better, nothing can be bought with real world money to make you better, mounts just help you get around the huge map quickly

Thanks man, I bought it anyway. I really wanted to invest my time into an mmorpg, I was bored of WoW.
