I was pretty sad when I finished all of the Bioshocks, and also the DLC for Infinite.

It wasn't exactly in the game but when i first finished playing bioshock infinite(the first ever game i have played, started like 2 months ago) i had this sad feeling inside like i didn't want it to finish i didn't want the story to end :/
this song pretty much sums up feelings of when you finish a game
(has spoilers for bioshock infinite, the walking dead and the last of us)

Zerg wrote John Marston's death at the end of Red Dead Redemption
I have got to agree with this, it was so un-expected and crazy that I can't believe it happened. I hope they expand and go with a sequel eventually.. Since his son took his spot kind of.. I don't know but this was a sad moment.

For me, it would be the execution of the Auditore Family in Assasin's Creed II.
The entire Auditore family was charged in prison and sentenced to death. If you've played the game, you'll know how depressing their story is. Pretty much reminds me of the Starks' fate in Game of Thrones.

Did this, but the last of us beginning takes the cake.

I forget which Naruto game it was, but it had one of the longest cutscenes I have ever seen in a game. It was of Naruto's parents dying. Also, Cortana in Halo 4 was a very sad moment. I watched the beginning of The Last of Us. That was depressing.

Ending of Dino Crisis 2. Saw it as a kid first time, stayed with me forever.
