Hi
Im 19 years old and i managed to get a job as a technician in the UK.
My earning salary is 21k but thats before tax
is that alright for a 19 year old?

That's a wicked job at your age man, most people of that job tend to be early 30's late 40's! hope you enjoy it man and all the best!

Thanks man, I was very happy aswell to get the job.
usually people dont discuss their earnings but i dont really care
my pay date rate is £100 and so its a 5 day job so thats 500 in one week but with all this tax and stuff also im being represented by an agency im left with 374 for 5 days of working
that alright?

Yeah that is very good. 21k a year for a 19year old is amazing if it what you are interested in.
I mean I want to run my own business and wouldn't want to be employed by anyone, but I have loads of mates just earning 18k a year and earning their way up the ranks.

thanks guys, i was really surprised aswell that i got the job, i havent seen anyone whos 19 and already a technician
since there are no other technicians in the school, im their first line of board
