I switch from having a Xbox 360 for 9 years to the PS4 when Destiny came out. The main reason is because most of my friends had the PS4 since launch. It was a bit odd for me being that I haven't played a PlayStation since the PS2, but once I got used to the controller it was fine. It should't be that hard to switch other than just getting use to the controller.

Before my PS4 I was playing 360. I love my playstation & the 2-3 times things have gone wrong for me in the store, anytime I have to deal with sony its 5x less stressful. Sony even refunded 20$ they spent on a 3 month for me, that I didn't want. & kept the time on.
Sony is winning in my book.
(Coming from a old xbox/Microsoft fanboy)
The controller is the hardest part. The analog sticks feel so much looser.

Yeah im with you on that one, i went from having a 360 from its release to a PS4 on releast, i also own an xbox one my sisters bought me the same year for xmas and it bareley gets used other than to play exclusives on it such as Dead rising 3.
The only big difference is the pad, in all fairness i prefer the xbox one pad in as much as it feels heavier and nicer to fit in the hand, although this is a preference overall the xbox one sits in the corner getting dusty whilst i use the ps4 daily.

1NE wroteSo for xmas this year I am getting a PS4! I have wanted one since the release -I got a gaming PC instead (2 years ago)
Anyway, is the difference huge? I am literally so excited but I don't know what I will do as I don't know anyone!
Not sure how many people responded but I went from Xbox 360 to the Xbox One but sold it b/c i didn't like it and I want to the PS4 and honestly the switch isn't too bad but I played PS2 in my growing up years so maybe thats why the controller feels so much better to me.

The only thing you'll have trouble with most likely is the controller. If you play gta 5 on the ps4 then you know what I'm talking about. It might take you a few days to stop accidentally rubbing the touch pad.

I have both Consoles Xbox one & PS4
but my background is that i came from the 360 never liked psn
but when i got my PS4 i actually love it way way more than my xbox one now i rarely use my XB1
i'm a microsoft fanboy but PS4>XB1 any day
i have all my friends on the xb1 but it still doesnt change my opinion
