To inform you all about this in case you are going to be switching to xfinity or Comcast I think they use the same exact modems. The modem called technicolor TC8305C is a modem that you do not wan't to get at all. Reason why I am saying this is because I have the technicolor TC8305C and i get disconnected from xbox live every 20 to 30 mins. So I have called xbox support number today and told them about my issue and they said. That exact modem is the most leading problem with disconnections of xbox live along side with the arris modem. They have recommend that the Cisco modem is the best choice there are barely any disconnection issues almost close to none. So all I am giving you the notice of is if you get the modems technicolor or arris ask them to switch it out for the cisco modem instead. I hope this helps some of you just wanted to spread the word.
