I have an AMD PC and It's quite fast and all, but I'm making the change over to Intel. I have about $800 to spend on parts and would like to keep it roughly around there. I'm a video editor who enjoys casual gaming every now and again.

am also willing to go up to $900 if need be.

So are you upgrading or building a new PC?

Building a new one, the motherboard I bought isn't compatible with any Intel processors.

You could upgrade the motherboard.

Download [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] so we can see if we can salvage any parts.

Guys,

I just want a brand new build. I do not want to reuse parts, I'm selling the AMD PC build as is and will use that money to afford the Intel build.

A little over budget if you can manage. You can save about $40-$50 if you go with Haswell instead of Skylake. XFire support so you can easily add a 2nd 390 at any point. Nice little cooler matching the black/white colour scheme. HDD for mass storage and SSD for your OS, and a few games/applications maybe. I'd personally spend the extra $15 for the Enthoo M over the S340.

**EDIT**
Actually, keep your HDD. I wouldn't be selling my HDD, even if I was selling my whole system. Then you could do this;

or this, if you prefer a larger capacity SSD;

Good for editing and gaming. Hyper-threading will come in handy.
If you do heavy editing, feel free to get 16gb of RAM even though its not that necessary.
Re-use your HDD out of your current PC.
