PSU sucks

better alternatives than a 970

Are you wanting to overclock? If so grab yourself an aftermarket cooler. If not chuck the Z97 and unlocked CPU.

Case is meh, spend a tad more for better.

PSU: Agreed
970, still a great card nonetheless
Overclocking: agreed, OP unless you want to OC keep it but you WILL need a far better cooler than the stock one
Case: alright, but this is better: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

I'd advise getting a 1440p/4k Monitor as the 970 and 390 is a bit overkill for 1080p.

As for the case i provided thats one of the many good ones you can pick up for around that price region, the one Zayev suggested is also a good quality case.

Zayev: I know the 970 is not a bad card at all, as you know i also own one. Just pointing out there are better alternatives but that would go down to OP's preferences. Shouldn't of been as blunt though, my bad
