I was lucky enough to get a well paid photography job about a month ago and I decided to invest that money into a graphics tablet in order to aid my efficiency within post processing. I also wanted to use it to start to study graphic design to further branch out my skill set and this is the first thing I have drawn with it. I got inspiration for this from a tattoo that I saw on someone when I was walking through a street and I really liked the style of the design.
Personally I am really proud of this as illustration has never been my forte and I haven't picked up a pencil to draw in over 5 years. You'll be able to see straight away that my shading skills are very underdeveloped, the lines are very wobbly because I haven't correctly configure the tablet yet but I intend to improve these with practice.
Please tell me what you think. Also, if you know of any resources that might benefit me I would greatly appreciate it.

That looks pretty cool, could you make it look 3d, or is that not possible with the program your using?

I'm using Paint Tool SAI. Had some trouble with compatibility but just managed to get the tablet working perfectly

You should look into adobe illustrator. It's really good for illustrations(As mentioned in the name of the program XD)

I've got as part of my CC package but the things just intimidates me at the moment but i do intend to use it. Mainly used SAI to get a feel of the tablet initially.

It really isn't hard I use to be a person that used Photoshop all the time. A couple months ago I switched to adobe illustrator and I know more about that program than Photoshop. Don't be intimidated that's only half the fun is learning something new

Rexifyy wroteLooks okay I guess, needs a bit of work to be perfect. That's what I personally think. The lines are out of proportion a tad as the lines are not straight but as you said "Need a bit of practice". Great work tho.
Thank you, the lines when i drew them were very jittery so it was difficult to make them straight so i just tried to make them as neat as i could. I've fixed the issue now though so the lines are so much smoother and straighter
