For while now I have been thinking it would be kind of cool to get a community going to play on a role play server.

On the server I was thinking that there could be a various amount of jobs to suit everybody and have compiled a quick list which people can add to as they see fit.

President - Oversees the server and makes important decisions that must also be voted upon by the community. Will have his own private plane and secret security.

Secret Security - Makes sure the president is protected at all times by having a quick trigger finger and eagle eyes vision, also deals with any crime that he sees at the time.

Police officers- Make sure that any crime that happens on the server is dealt with directly and swiftly. The Chief officer will be in charge of a elite task force who will patrol and deal with direct calls to ensure the community on the server stays in line, but beware there may be criminals lurking!

Military - Have a huge arsenal of vehicles and weapons to ensure that they are well equipped to deal with any scenarios that may oppose them. The army will have ranks within it such as general and lieutenant to keep power balanced. Correct uniform will have to be worn and any commands given off your superior officer will have to be followed or punishment will be due. Different vehicles and weapons will be assigned according to your rank and position an example of this would be a pilot using a jet or helicopter to escort the presidents jet instead of a groundsman using and insurgent to respond to a attack.

Lavish life/celebrity - Every city inst complete without there own millionaire who can go around flashing all their fancy clothes and cars and not giving a damn. You will normally see these people doing red carpet walks or out on the see riding their yacht. Sometimes the life can become to much for these people due to all the crazy fans who are obsessed with them due to the small city and may hire you as a personal body guard or chauffeur.

Terrorist - As controversial as this is the military always has an enemy and this will be the terrorists. They will do anything to reek havoc on the city such as mass murder and bombings but one rule is that all vehicles that are to be used must be stolen, this is to keep it fair and realistic due to it being unrealistic that someone would provide tanks and such to terrorists without them stealing it. The military must work round the clock gaining Intel on what their next move is, where their base is and how to counter them sufficiently.

Criminals and thugs - In the hood crime is high and people are selling drugs, stealing cars or performing heists on shops or other higher profile targets. They are ruthless and don't hesitate to pull the trigger on somebody who may be prying into their business. The cops and criminals/thugs have a long history of violence and the police are constantly unavailing them with both their ground forces and air support. One wrong step out of line and its a quick trip the the prison to try and rehabilitate them.

Prison guard - What use is it catching the criminals if there is nobody to make sure they can't perform more crimes again. The prison guards must pick the prisoners up from the holding cells and transport them to the designated prison via bus. The bus will be escorted but depending on the ranking of the criminal some people will have their crews try to bail them out while they are in transit. Inside the prison the guards must be alert and ready to act with prison inmates often clashing due to them being in rival gangs. Prison time lasts for a maximum of ten minutes depending on the severity of the crime and then they will be released with a close eye kept on them from the enforcement officers for a short time to make sure they do not re offend as soon as they are released back into the general public.

Cargo transporters - Whether via boat or helicopter some people will need important items whether they are stranded and need a car airlifted to them or are carrying important items such as a large amount of money and require to be flown via a cargo plane. It is like a postal service and the job requires good time keeping as well as excellent care to make sure any products that are in transit are not damaged.

Hit-man - An urban legend within Los Santos but this reality is very real. Dressed in your typical suit they show no emotion and deliver to their clients with deadly results. Often turning to their large arsenal of silenced weapons and vehicles to make sure their job is done quickly and swiftly without the target or law enforcement knowing, at least they hope.

Casual - If you're not into any of the crazy life anymore and want to simply retire and sip martini on the beach with your wife then you simply can. Go for a cruise on a boat or in your car along the hills off Los Santos or go deep into the northern territory on Blaine county with a rural community where crooked law enforcement officers and citizens who have no regard for the law resign. Go shopping on the fancy high streets in hopes of bumping into a celebrity, theirs all sorts that Los Santos can offer you.

Special ops - This is like the FBI of GTA with special officers who are often called upon when a crime reaches a critical stage. Within this task force there will be a variety of job roles such as spy's to try and infiltrate criminal organizations to overthrow their leader, critical response team such as hostage negotiators and lots more depending on the situation. Units within this are required to dress for the occasion.

Lawyers - These will decide what is wrong and what is right. In recent times people have tried to assassinate high court lawyers and barristers. A lawyer and a criminal will present themselves in front of a court and testify on their crime. Barristers will be a limited job and given to honest and critical thinkers to make sure someones future is correct.

This is a small number of jobs and roles which i have though of and many more can be played freely or added below to the forum which i will read and appreciate.
