If you're spending over $300 on a graphics card, get a GTX 970. Way better than AMD. My biggest mistake when building my PC was getting AMD over intel/Nvidia because I thought "same price = same performance". You also don't necessarily need a 500GB SSD, unless you plan on using it for alot more than just your OS. I put games on it to make them load faster, but I only play about 2 games where I'd play them enough to care about load time. Personal preference however, and it's all in your budget for what you can get. For the case, I suggest really anything from NZXT, they have really nice cases for the same price. All personal preference though.

If you dont need the i7 then swap it out for the i5 6600K but as I've said before more games are starting to utilize hyper-threading in which the i7 has and the i5 doesn't. Black and Red as you wanted however the case isn't black and red but if you were willing to pick up a cheap external CD writer then you could always get the H440 black and red instead. If you need a 500gb SSD then feel free to get the 500gb 850 Evo.

Stop being bias. AMD has better drivers and cards atm. Also, "Intel/Nvidia" isnt a thing. Just because they are more well know doesnt mean the "communicate" better. The bias in unreal in this post. Not everything from NZXT is good, either. Phateks, Cooler Master, and Fractal Design have pretty good cases.

IMO the r9 390 is a better option than the 970 better dx12 support and a few extra fps and same price. A 500gb SSD is fine. We don't quite know what will be on there but game sizes are getting close to 70+ gb so it will be nessessary . The Phanteks case he has is better than most NZXT cases around the same price.

IMO Nvidia drivers are better, my AMD drivers always used to crash and now I haven't had a BSOD since i upgraded to a 970.

There is a lot of different options about drivers I guess lol.

I just experienced constant crashing with AMD drivers. Hence why I got a 970 over the 390. Plus i like the features the 970 offers such as Shadow Play and DSR, which AMD now do but yeah...

They each have their ups and downs. I'd personally take a 390 over a 970, but I'd get a 970 to a certain extent.

Not really any bias in my post at all, I've had an AMD card and an Nvidia card, I know the pros and cons of both. I constantly had problems with Catalyst AMD drivers and with my Nvidia card I've had only 1 problem and it was because when I switched I didn't fully clean out my AMD drivers. I also don't even have an NZXT case, so that suggestion isn't biased either. I have an iBP case, I just have a friend IRL who has an NZXT case and I've helped him build his PC and the design and quality of their cases are very nice.
