I don't understand why people judge one's intelligence on their grammar, there are other way's of being intelligent. Plus some people may not have had the opportunity to get the same education as you did don't judge people on their grammar skills its sad really.

By making this post I was not making the attempt to judge anybody by their intelligence. I made this post so people can learn when they need to use one or the other. Whether they use this information or not, they now know the difference.

I understand I was just speaking in general about the people who judge one another just because they had a hard time learning grammar.

As right as you are, teenagers are the age group most resistant to being told what to do.
This site is populated by - mostly - teenagers, so you're unlikely to get anyone saying, 'Thanks, I did not know these things, have some rep' and are more likely to get, 'dis ain't no Engrish esseh bru.'

Not to say that they're wrong, it's helpful for people to type using standard English for the sake of understanding, but I'm one to focus more on what a person is saying, as opposed to how they are saying it.
