I was wondering what the easiest way to go from 1-40 was. Thank you!

I run through the story as fast as I can, picking up hounties as I can. Once strikes unlock I do those to 40. Running through my Warlock now, doing this. Last character thank jeebus. Always, always, ALWAYS collect daily bounties.

Bounties bounties bounties run through the stories helps to have a higher lv friend to do it on hard. Story first to unlock all the bounties and then make sure you complete them all

This is probably your quickest way. Or crucible with crucible bounties also. I wouldn't rush the game though. Take your time

The rush part is just my preference, after god knows how many playthroughs for myself and friends I just want it to be over as fast and painless as possible

The game is really enjoyable when you take your time. Or you miss out on some loot as I did.
