Well, two Nvidia video cards. You have AMD so you dont need to worry about that.

You can run sli if you have amd cards that are capable of sli. All sli is, it is bridging the connection between both cards to have superior performance.

No. SLI is for Nvidia cards only. XFire (aka. crossfire) is for AMD cards only and can be done on most boards. SLI support is only on Z series boards, also unlocked boards.

But with the motherboard you suggested me I could just have one card of AMD or NVIDIA and it will be fine.. BTW I don't really plan on SLI or Xfire. I plan on just having one card!

You could have one card, either being AMD or Nvidia.

You can NOT have 2 Nvidia cards.

You CAN have 2 AMD cards.

You also cant have one AMD and one Nvidia, it doesnt work like that either.

I'd just stick with 1 card as you could just get a more powerful card than having 2 weaker ones

Yeah ok so thats still the best motherboard even though I will only use one of the video cards slots?
