I have a HTC One M8 and it's my main phone and I use it everday, it is fantastic but I feel it has a few flaws (volume being a big one for me) and I was reading there are ways to boost it by rooting your phone which offers a infinite amount of different things to do as well, so I'm wondering if it is worth rooting my phone? Please post your experiences with it as I would massively appreciate it.

Ive rooted my friends phones for them, Samsung galaxy.S3 to the S5, Ive rooted my own Nexus and now i have a rooted hauwei, works perfectly, it just depends on the phone and the rooting method, some are easier than others and some are riskier than others, I think theres about two different ways to root your device and Id recommend rooting but research the method first and proceed at your own risk, personally I'd root it if you felt comfortable after doing the research...
P.s. updating your OS firmware after rooting is a bugger, still worth it though (:
hope this kinda helps,
Chris

I'm looking into rooting my HTC One M8 and I've decided I want to do it, but I can't find a guide for it that will work, I don't suppose you've seen one?

Havent came across one for that device, I'll look into it for you though, sometimes older methods work on newer devices but its a gamble cause your phone can be soft bricked

I went and typed "How to root htc one m8" into google, i suggest that you watch a few videos and read a few posts, also make sure that the root is for your carrier.
