I downloaded proccess explorer to find out what process was in use when I tried to open my video file.

Found it is explorer.exe what do I do?!

EDIT: It only seems to be with ShadowPlay, recored a test mp4 with OBS and that works fine.

shadowplay still has a lot of bugs...a few months ago I recorded a 3hr GTA V heists video and lost all audio after 5 mins. So what your experiencing is from shadowplay...does you pc play any other mp4 files that are not from shadowplay

Yeah I tried OBS and recording was fine (mp4) however the files that were unable to open can now be opened. Problem is now that anything I record from now has the same problem.
