How do you install a texture pack on your world on Xbox one minecraft!!!!

Once you purchase a texture pack it should automaticly download the texture pack so you wait for a bit for it to download and it should tell it downloaded then you can go to the Minecraft bit and a the bottom you can pick what texture pack you want.

Can I do this if it not my world, cos it's my friends world but I just want the texture pack on it, is that possible ?

I am not sure about that, I think it wont work if they don't have it.
