I have a Radeon HD 7990 6GB card. When I plug everything in, the card itself will run, but does not do anything on screen. When I go to the device manager it's not even detected. I have deleted all of the drivers (I had the most up-to-date ones). Any ideas to get it working?
ASUS P8z77-V Deleuxe MOBO

And please dumb down your answers. I am not that tech savvy when it comes to computers.

You might need to go into the BIOS and enable the PCI-E bus speed to 3.0 instead of 2.0 to recognize it.
So far thats what I read about your mother board that people have problems with the 3.0 PCI-E cards

PCI-E versions won't make any difference. I'm 99.9% sure you can't manually switch it anyway.
It's backwards and forward compatible.

Yeah i didnt see anything about that in BIOS. I only saw PCI-E prioritizing and i set it to my graphics card or whatever instead of iGPU. It still doesnt even show up in device manager.
