Go ahead and jailbreak, its very much worth it. But if you don't know a single thing about Jailbreaking material, i wouldn't.
Because you have the chance of Messing up your phone.

I've always jailbroken every iPhone I owned. Even when I just got my 6, I jailbroke it within the same hour. If you know what to do, how to use it, then you'll have no problems.

WizK wrote Battery life is going to be affected, but not as bad as you think. Before jailbreak my phone lasted 1.5 days, now its like 1.2 days.

Yeah, depending on how much tweaks you install and which require a lot of RAM to use can differ battery time.

Don't see any cons really, you can do whatever you want with it as well as if you do not want it any longer you can get rid of it very quickly while still having all of your data.

Watch the video completely first, after video, try jailbreaking.

the worse thing that can happen is the screen doesn't turn on but all you have to do is plug your phone into your computer and restore your backup
