Hello, so I was wondering, I had to send back my motherboard to get it fixed. (It was a faulty mobo or whatever). Im getting it back sometime this coming week and I built my PC and didn't get an Optical Drive tray for disk or anything cuz everyone uses USB's now. So I was wondering, I have a disk of my OS (Win. 7), so can i put that disk in my laptop and transfer them to my USB or not? If so how do I do it then.

I believe microsoft has a tool that will make the usb install files from the disc for yiu

I've always just dragged and dropped when installing from USB.
As long as the BOOTMGR file is there, it should work fine.
