Hi. I recently bought an Xbox one, before I knew about PS4 being the new console for competitive gaming. I pre-ordered BO3 already, and I am looking to go pro in the game.

Considering the MLG tourneys and whatnot will be using PS4, should I sell my Xbox one (would hate to do, getting a shit price for selling it) and get a PS4, or would I be okay sticking with an Xbox One?

Let me know what you think. Thank you!

That new Black ops 3 bundle with the game and a 1tb ps4 is a pretty good deal if you want the game and the console.

Why sell it just because pros are switching to PS4? Waste of money imo. Just keep the Xbox One.

I'm not one to conform to society, however I'd only be switching because going from playing on Xbox One to playing on PS4 in tournaments (when not having played playstation at all) would be really weird. Plus, all of the real competitors will be playing on PS4 since it is the main console for it now. That, is the reason why I'd switch. It's a pretty big loss for me if I switch money wise.

Unless you are a pro, or compete professionally, I see no need to get a PS4 unless you absolutely want one.

By no means am I to be considered a pro, however if I were to compete, do you think it would be hard going from playing XB1 to PS4? Taking into consideration the controller differences and whatnot.

I wouldn't because I assume you already bought a membership on the xbox one and you probably have a good account that you put a lot of hard work into. It would be just a waste of time and money.

This just sounds like a waste of money more or less to me stick to what your friends are on and you'll have no problems.
