I'm a long time Halo fan. Combat Evolved was the first game I played on my Original Xbox at the tender age of 7 years old.

I did enjoy the campaign. Me and a few friends beat it on Legendary on the first day we got it. We then jumped into multiplayer and was underwhelmed.

Just really only a 12 v 12 or a 4v4. It was just generally boring, just felt like there was a lack of game modes. I really enjoyed Infection on Halo Reach, sad to see it was not in Halo 5.

Gameplay and Graphics wise, I would say it was excellent.
Just lacked a lot of content and it felt they tried to get the game out ASAP before the launch of other big titles and thought they'll add all the other stuff later on.

Like I'm a big fan of forge. I like to go and make racing tracks just for sheer banter with my mates and other maps for some banter game modes. Really half the reason I got Halo 5.

Just multiplayer is pretty boring. Took it back the next day and got my money back.
In summary:
+ Campaign
+ Graphics
+ Gameplay

- Lack of content
- Multiplayer
- NO SPLIT SCREEN
- NO FORGE (for a month )

I find the breakout playlist for Arena to be pretty fun and competitive. I'm mainly waiting for forge, it's going to be nuts

Halo 5 is good as its own game but horrible as a halo game of that makes any sense It's completely broken away from what's made halo halo and 343i is completely out of touch with halo fans the games have been going down hill for a while now this is the first time ever that I'd prefer a CoD came over halo based on the BO3 beta

It's kinda sad how destiny feels more like a halo game than halo 5 when it comes to the multiplayer

No, I love halo 5. I admit that I wish it wasn't 343 but it still is super fun to play with friends. I hear that the campaign ends unexpectedly so that will suck but the multiplayer is awesome. I hate all of the shitty cods now and they are just trying to make an extra buck. I would much rather have halo 5 than Bo3

No. I suck at Halo 5, but I don't think the game does. It is kind of lacking when it comes to playlists, but it is pretty good other than that. I wish there were some unranked playlists other than Warzone. I like to play casually a lot, and you can't exactly do that in Arena. The campaign and gameplay are pretty great. It is a solid game.

I find the game really good especially the amount of competition in multiplayer atm. They already said they will be adding more playlists in the near future. The only thing i think it needs is social playlists that you dont have the be sweaty in. As for the campaign it does end unexpectedly but it makes me really want to get halo 6

You probably just suck at multiplayer.

Potion wrote You probably just suck at multiplayer.

I'll put my hand up and say I'm not the best in multiplayer. Haven't played Halo multiplayer since Reach. (Only got Halo 4 for the campaign) Also really haven't played a FPS in a while.

I wont say I'm terrible, probably just the average joe at Halo, compared back to when I abused it back in the day.
I just felt like it lacked a lot of multiplayer content.
I do reckon I'll pick it back up at the end of December though, since people are saying they are adding new playlist etc..

That's because all games are moving towards this micro-transaction trend apps have capitalized on. They sell the game, but realize they can have more money over a period of time by selling add-ons. Look at COD, Fallout 4, GTA ( albeit subtly with the Shark Cards and expensive in-game DLC ad-ons), and all these other games. I miss COD 4 and back when Xbox Live was simple and a fun time with friends. Now it feels like you either are in a competition with people or it's not fun at all. All these companies care about is money and it shows. It is really obvious just buying Xbox One games. Games used to be really expensive for Xbox 360 no matter the title for the most part, now even really reputable games that are fairly new are really inexpensive for the Xbox One, and the reason is DLC is a rising source of profit and they are capitalizing on it. Notice the decline in quality campaigns and increase in multiplayer DLC?
