Well one time people were asking for it and Mircosoft themselves said to ask Activision about it and they were not on the backwards compatibility list.

Do you know any games that are on the list? Just wounding haven't seen none. Also do you have to own the game digital or can it be on disk?

You wouldn't have any of your ranks or gamesaves because you are on a different platform. I could go more in depth but I'm tired. GL looking into it more, it should be an easy answer to find proof for.

This is false, at least about the gamesave part. If you saved/moved your gamesave to the cloud instead of your hdd, then say fallout 3 would be to be picked up right where you left off.
