So the title says it.

I got my elgato today. I've set it up enough to be able to record gameplay with game volume but I don't have game/party chat from other people.

For my voice, I just use commentary option and I can record like that. Not sure how to record everyone else.

Using Astro A40's with mixamp.

I've Googled around but most videos go to elgato hd60 that I'm not using.

Any help from anyone who's using this setup?

Just make the xbox play the party chat through the TV

I've Googled that aswell and I don't have a kinect so I can't do that.

I've found a video on YouTube but that requires me to have about 5 extra wires hanging out of my controller just to record game/party chat.

what video was it?
you probably would need some splitters to capture the audio going into your headset and record that.

The one I looked at was - [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

But it's not an Astro one so I'm not sure how it goes with the mixamp.

I've checked around and there's nothing really mentioned how to do it with a mixamp. I'll just have to OBS Skype and play games.
