Hi I have just bought my custom built gaming pc, the pc itself will have a MAXIMUM 513 watts and the power supply is 550w, basically my question is will that work fine

It should work fine but it's I would recommend upgrading psu if yiou can afford to as the recommended psu should have at least 25% more watts than the estimated maximum you pc will use.

If you want to overclock at all you need to upgrade..you barely pass the requirements to power your pc...I recommend to upgrade to a 650.

Or maybe 750 if you want extra room in case you feel like upgrading in the future because if you end up needing more than 650, you would have to buy another psu. I went with 850 and my build on requires 500watts but that was because I have extra money.

The quality matters more than the wattage, as long as the unit is of sufficient wattage to power your rig. 550W is more than enough for the majority of modern single card rigs with a nice overclock.

Without knowing what's inside the PC we can't help.

PSU wattage calculators are shit, so ignore them.
