Never played H1Z1 but according to MOST reviews on steam the community is pretty shit.. idk though you cant really judge a whole community based on a few bad run ins of people killing on site
I have however played BOTH dayz's standalone and mod back in the day and I could not stand it... "ohhhhhhh the lag??? yeeeeeeeah its annoying but you get used to it TRUST ME!!" .... yeah no, I never got used to it, and getting sniped by some no life was NEVER fun

I would say DayZ; I also own h1z1 but I got more into DayZ Just because I had groups of friends who played it as I don't like to play these games solo.
