I need a good PC build with a budget of $2000 INCLUDING a monitor preferably an 144Hz monitor. Don't need a keyboard or a mouse and will not be over clocking. I'm really bad with computers so can someone help me pick parts for my PC? thanks

Fury X is a bit weaker than the 980ti still performs well @ 4k, nice cooler, 2 250gb SSDs for different things

XFire support, so can always add a 2nd Fury at any point. 1440p 144Hz Free-Sync IPS panel. HT CPU and 16GB RAM will do fine. 2TB HDD for mass storage is more than enough for now, and 250GB SSD for OS and a few games/programs. Fully-modular PSU and nice case. Nice cooler too, nothing too high end needed for a locked chip.

I wouldn't want an i5 in a gaming rig for much longer tbh, so many newer games are being bottlenecked a fair amount by 4c4t CPUs nowadays.

Can add another 980 Ti if you wanted to, no aftermarket cooler but a 500GB SSD, you could swap it out for a 250GB one and add something like a NH-D15, Dark Rock Pro 3 or a TC14PE, but I would definitely prefer a larger SSD.
