pretty much i dont want to splash another £35 on this game this quickly, the main reason i bought it was to play the giant zombie map and they want me to buy a season pass to access this, is there any other way to get it? i dont care about a £10 charge just not more than what i paid for the game itself

Only way to get it is through season pass. If it's zombies you want to play then you would have got the season pass for new zombies maps in the future.

cheers mate so im guessing its not as simple as what it used to be where you could buy the maps individually

Not as of yet. Map packs will be sold separately of course but The Giant will probably be available to buy separately around next year sometime so if you cant wait till then, season pass it is.
