So I have done some research and I'm wondering how much worse the x4 is thank the 4460 at tasks like
- Streaming
- 720p Video editing
- Light AAA gaming w/ 950
Like how much weaker and worse gaming performance will there be. If I get x4 I plan to pair it with a good after market cpu cooler.
Thanks !

it's a strong chip and would do well at the above tasks but suffer a bit when it comes to rendering as it has a weaker per core performance than the 4460.

Per core performance is single core performance, which is actually were the 860k and 4460 fall close. The reason the 4460 is better at rendering is because it has stronger multi-core performance. For streaming and gaming, the 860k will be fine. Editing/rendering, the 4460 would be better but the 860k is still obviously going to do it, and it'll do the job fine. If you can spend the premium for the i5, do it. If not, don't.

The AMD chip is a turd compared to the Intel is every single way. If you have the money spend it...unless you want to spend the money left over from AMD on the dankest of pepe's and as many weeaboos that you can eat.

Or, instead of the 290 you could get a 380, and have about $100 left over for cooler and SSD or something.
Will the AMD Rig still do decent gaming streaming and rendering ?

Puh-leeez there shouldn't be an AMD option if the Intel one is an i5.
