Hey guys i was wondering what you keep, can u pick a gun from before u prestige to have immediately or do you lose everything with no perk like that. Thanks for your help

When you prestige you get an extra custom class as well as a permanent unlock token which allows you to unlock an item for permanent use. You also keep your challenge progression and unlocks, both multiplayer and weapon challenges.
