The happiest moment of my life came on August 3rd, 2015 at 3:37 PM:

Today was a very sad day, some guy came and took off with my Z.
Well, I thought I did the math right to keep up with the Z but I did not.
My insurance wouldn't tell me what the monthly payment would be for it until I registered it and all. As soon as I did that, they told me it was $300 a month. So I saved every single penny a month I could, but having fun and getting 17 MPG led me to the gas station once a week, which was $40 if not more.
I was spending $500 out of the $700 I make in a month. And I just thought to myself is it really worth it? And that answer was no. Yes I had the time of my life when driving it and broke too many necks but I just wouldn't be saving $200 a month right before college in 6 months.
Plus I have other stuff to pay for. $50 for phone bill, $20 a week for food. So you can come to the realization that it wasn't going to work out... At all.
I also took into consideration that winter is coming up, and do I want to risk driving that thing that almost has bald tires? nope, i'll let that other guy deal with it.
I plan to either get another one in the future of get a nice luxury car. Like a 2008 CTS or better.
The car needed some money into it that I didn't have. I really bought the car on an emotional level because it was like "in the moment" and "it's now or never." I felt kinda pressured too because my friend drove me 200 miles to get it, and I would have felt so bad if I said no, but now I realize that it was my money and I should have not bought in the first place but buy a nicer one with the money I could of had by now. I also didn't even think to do a carfax and bring it to a mechanic, because my friend that went with me has one and he's very knowledgeable on these car so I put all my trust in him. Which was a bad choice after my step dad (mechanic) checked it out when he got back from Vegas.
I hope you all know where I'm coming from. It sucks to see it go but it was for the best.
I took one last picture I've always wanted to take before I sold it:

All good things come to an end at some point. Don't worry though, I'll make up for it with in the next year or 2

At least you seem to know how to budget.
Sorry to hear about the Z, nice car but you'll have time like you said to make up for it.

Good for you knowing when to call it quits. I about pissed my self when you complained about 17 MPG lol. 300/mo insurance is expensive for me, I pay 36/mo on my '99 F-350 lol. I just have state minimum, not fancy crap.

Sad to see it go but realize you can always get this car or something even better. It's a learning experience. I was about to finance a 2013 mustang gt but I thought what happens if I won't get the hours I was getting over the summer because of school. And sure enough with school and work there was no way for me to make enough to comfortably pay the car and buy stuff for it and just normal spending. Just save up and buy something cash. IMO it's the best way to go.

I know it's late at night and all (for me anyway), and I might not be seeing things right as I don't have my glasses, but is your ring finger bigger than the rest of your fingers?

Shame, man. I know how long you'd been trying to get one.
Oh well, shit happens and we move on. Here's to something better in the future!

don't worry about it, because something better will come along. You had to make a sacrifice and you won't regret it.
